Southwest Persia (Iran), c. 230 x 163 cm, early 20th century, striped kilim manufactured in slit technique and partly with interlocking wefts, the horizontal panels in alternating colours feature patterns of lozenges and crosses, for all the white areas a highly-contrasting cotton has been used, very good condition with fully preserved braided warps on both sides.
