so-called ‘cassapanca’, originally 16th century, walnut frame with carved front featuring mascarons and lesenes, all-round geometrical carved decoration, repeated in the backrest, which is further ornamented with a carved coat of arms in bas-relief, hinged lid, the base replaced, c. 116 x 190 x 70 cm, heavy signs of age and use.
