Jaroslav Róna graduated in 1984 from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, where he studied in the studio of prof. Stanislav Libenský. He is a versatile artist who focuses on painting, sculpture, graphic art, and scenography alongside his glass works. Since 2005, he has led a sculpture studio at the AFA in Prague. His glass work is primarily created using the technique of fused sculpture. Dark colors and monumental archetypal shapes are characteristic of his work.
