S. M. S. Kronprinz Rudolf was a battleship of the Imperial and Royal Navy. The ship was launched in Pola on 6 July 1886. The godmother was Archduchess Marie Therese, wife of Archduke Carl Ludwig on behalf of Empress Elisabeth. Also present were the Archdukes Francis Ferdinand, Leopold and Carl Stephan.
