Shinagawa Gotenyama, from the series: "Meisho Edo hyakkei" (Hundred Views of Edo), nishiki-e, signed: Hiroshige hitsu, publisher Uoya Eikichi, dated: 1856 (Ansei 3, month 4), censor seal: aratame dragon 4. The present sheet is a late impression with the (probable) late variant with yellow and white title cartouche, the pink of the flowers and the red of the signature are quite pale, the lines slightly worn, slightly soiled, visible centrefold, backed with very thin album paper, full margins, mounted, framed, 36.1 x 24.5 cm, (CT)
