Elena Karloff was born in Novosibirsk, Russia. From 1976 to 1985 she attended the Novosibirsk Polytechnic High School. She subsequently attended the Novosibirsk Art College from 1985 to 1989, graduating as an industrial graphic designer. She is a member of both the Hallescher Kunstverein e. V. and the international artists’ association 'La Palette du Monde'. Elena Karloff lives and works in Vienna.
