19th century, modelled after 18th-century cabinets on chest, ‘à deux corps’ type, Swiss pine frame carved with ornamental and floral motifs and rocailles, cream-coloured painted and gilt, with floral ornamental painting in panels, curved lesenes, writing compartment with fall-front and 2 doors, upper section with 2 doors and blue painted interior, cartouche shaped terminal with openwork carved rocailles, c. 247 x 148 x 50 cm, some paint losses, signs of abrasion, signs of age and use.
