Die Damen, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, Rupertinum, 11 June-4 September 2022 ‘DIE DAMEN’ was founded by ONA B., Evelyne Egerer, Birgit Jürgenssen and Ingeborg Strobl in 1987. Parallel to their individual artistic oeuvres, they appeared together in loose succession, especially from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, in actions that balanced seriousness and satire, always perfectly styled as a quartet. In 1993, Lawrence Weiner became the fourth member of the group, replacing Ingeborg Strobl. From: Short guide to the aforementioned exhibition
