Two rare armchairs mod. SE 122 A, designed by Egon Eiermann
in 1958 / 1959, for Wilde & Spieth, Esslingen am Neckar, four-legged structure made of light-coloured wood, strap covering, with original black and burgundy synthetic leather covering. Dimensions of each element: height c. 78 cm, width c. 61 cm, depth c. 62 cm. Signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions, the straps replaced a long time ago. (MHA)
Egon Eimermann designed this earliest model SE 122A of this series, which was intended as conference furniture, as an armrest version. The model was originally intended for the interior of the Essener Steinkohlebergwerke AG administration building, which was also designed by Eimermann.
