A “Pantonova” livingscape consisting of eight Pantonova-100 seating elements, designed by Verner Panton
in 1971, for Fritz Hanse, Denmark, sculptural construction made of chromium plated steel wire, brown and blue seat and back upholstery. Set consisting of 5 seat elements, one semicircular and two cubic intermediate elements, and one rounded intermediate element. Dimensions of each element: height c. 74 cm, width c. 74 and 55 cm, depth c. 50 cm, height of seat 40 cm. Signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions, brown coverings and upholstery have been professionally replaced. (MHA)
The individual elements can be variably combined. A series produced model developed within the framework of Verner Panton’s work for the restaurant Varna in Arhus, Denmark.
