Scrapbook for the engineer August von Serres Wieczffinski (1841-1900) on the occasion of his 20 years of service (1867-1887) in the private Austro-Hungarian state railroad company; dedicated by the members of the railroad management, 19 plates, inscribed and with vignettes, Kettenbrücke station, water station, Budapest turnout tower, map of Serbia, view of Jičín, Czech Republic, Trebitsch, Deutsch Altenburg, railroad motifs, most of them signed L. E. Petrovits, Ludwig, Vaclav Jansa, Franz Kopallik, Hans Wilt, some dated and titled, watercolor or ink, black ink on paper, each 56 x 65.5 cm, mounted (60 x 70 cm), in a cardboard box (62 x 72 x 10 cm), some minor paper damages and stains outside the image, (HU)

According to tradition and to a reduced facsimile edition, the album originally comprised c. 50 plates. August von Serres Wieczffinski (Bayonne 1841-1900 Paris), railroad engineer on the board of directors of the Imperial-Royal Railways, proved to be extremely successful in technical matters as well as in financial and transport policy matters.
