In a Renaissance revival style. A high quality piece from the 2nd half of the 19th century. A veneered and ebonised bureau cabinet with richly engraved ivory inlays, linear marquetry, stone applications and lacquer mouldings to imitate tortoiseshell. The lower section has 2 doors and 1 drawer; the upper section has a hinged writing surface and 3 interior drawers. Ca. 183 x 73 x 44 cm. Some ageing, parts loose and missing. (PZ)
