Baroque tabernacle cabinet,
Originally mid 18th century. A cabinet “a deux corps”, veneered mostly in walnut with marquetry panels and bands in further fine woods, with a 3-drawer lower section with fall-front writing surface, 7 interior drawers, later lined with gold-embossed leather, the upper section with a moulded cornice and 2 doors. The interior was fitted with mirrors in the course of a restoration, also with glass shelves, the inside of the doors similarly lined with leather. 210 x 123 x 63 cm. Parts replaced, in cared-for condition. (DOC)
