manufactured by the staff of Wolfers frères in Brussels as a personal gift for M. et Mme Robert Wolfers on the occasion of their wedding in 1898, silver, carved ivory, removable brass liner, of curved oval form, the front featuring a moulded group of three allegorical figures, with a dedicatory inscription on the reverse, the monograms of the bridal couple to the sides, alternating with ivory panels decorated with work utensils, height 31 cm, length 56 x 42 cm, (B).
