Formerly accompanied by a certificate from Walther Bernt in relation to Jan Both. We are grateful to M. de Kinkelder of the RKD, The Hague, for her assistance with cataloguing this picture. She is of the opinion that it may be an enlarged version of a lost composition by Jan Both.
