A “Jaipur Garden” side table, - Design

designed by Paolo Giordano in 2012 for I + I, Milan, pressed and lacquered aluminium, height 37 cm, 43.5 x 50 cm. (DR) Consisting of two parts plucked into each other and which can also be used separately. A unique specimen. Accompanied by a certificate. An extruded ethnic floral pattern offers a twofold aesthetic. Vernacular folk figuration combined with techno precision in regular or organic shapes, like a fantasy archaeological find from industrial times, where machined profiles become poetic expression.
