Salon chest of drawers,
France, Transition period, last third of the 18th century. A two-drawer chest made in oak with rosewood veneer and marquetry panels, with "sans traverse" drawers, gilt and chased bronze mounts and a shaped grey-beige veined marble top. The chest is stamped "L. AUBRY" (Louis Aubry, maitre 1774) and JME (Jures Menuisiers Ebenistes). 84 x 110 x 48 cm. In fine restored condition. Two keys.
