A modified Louis XV style, from the 2nd half of the 19th century. A freestanding mahogany-veneered hardwood chest of drawers on cabriole legs, with marquetry bands, the top drawer with a sliding writing section with leather lining, the central drawer opening laterally, the lower drawer opening at the front, with rich yellow metal mounts of rams' heads and festoons. Ca. 78 x 65 x 50 cm. In restored condition. (DOC)
