Augsburg c. 1710, gilt brass and silver, signed “Johann Willebrand in Augspurg 48.”, engraved “Horizontalae Solis & Lunarae”, octagonal base with hinged compass, folding gnomon with plummet on latitude scale from 40–60 degree, screw feet, back with names and latitudes of 43 towns. Size c. 65 x 62 mm. (WU).
