South Persia (Iran), c. 107 x 71 cm, around 1900, fine wool embroidery with star medallion, stylised tree and boteh pattern, the style of the hanging (pardeh) is strongly reminiscent of Indian cashmere shawls, very well preserved, mounted on a wooden frame.
