The wooden colonnade with its amply decorated carvings was built in the Swiss style in 1882/83 after a design by the famous architects Fellner und Helmer. At the beginning of the 1990s the colonnades were completely reconstructed. Today they appear in white. Three mineral springs splutter in its interior: the spring named after Charles IV, the Lower Castle Spring and the Market Spring.
