mahogany, various inlaid woods; geometric decorations; restored; probably fitted with a lock at a later date (fittings included); the lower section with subsequent screw fittings, the round knob on the lid was also subsequently screwed on; in the original design, this box has exactly the same decoration, but without a lock and with four round feet underneath; the present cigar box comes without feet; some traces of glass on the rim of the lid, overall signs of age and use; size: height 20.1 cm, length 26.5 cm, depth 21.9 cm.
