Vienna, c. 1925, white lacquered hardwood, nickel plated white metal globular knobs and foot covers, glass top, height 45 cm, width 58,5 cm, depth 43 cm. (DRAX)
Original condition. Designed for an apartment at Mannersdorf near the Leithagebirge, Austria.
Kaym and Hetmanek had studied under Otto Wagner and Adolf Loos and worked as a team of architects between 1925 and 1935. They were prominent exponents of the independent Vienna settlement movement and also worked as interior architects and furniture designers.
