South Turkestan, c. 98 x 193 cm, second half of the 19th century, rare, large transport or storage bag of the Beshir tribes with so-called mina khani ornament, unlayered warp in asymmetrical knot with c. 1,100 kts/sqm, with wool and goat-hair mixture as foundation material, deep soft pile wool in broad tonal spectrum, chequered main border with large flowers and heavily stylised leaf motifs, the large lower elem with trees and top elem with amulets, the upper kilim has been folded back, at the lower end kilim remains of the former back part.
