Slovak glassmaker Eva Fišerová studied at the Glassmaking Secondary School in Lednicke Rovne. She then studied in prof. Cigler’s Glass in Architecture Studio at the AFAAD in Bratislava, graduating in 1974.
In her glass works, she most often uses the fused sculpture technique. She also paints and sculpts. Characteristic of her work is an intuitive approach, which she often modifies with mathematically precise constructions. Thus, she creates works with an original imaginative geometry and optics. An example of this approach is the work on offer, Navigation, which has been exhibited and published numerous times.
