Eva Vlasáková (Tábor 1943) studied at the Václav Hollar Secondary School of Arts and then at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, at František Muzika Studio. In addition to glass, she is engaged in painting, drawing and graphics. In her glassmaking work, which she began in 1983 at Pilchuck Glass School in the United States, she works primarily with the technique of fused plastic. Thematically she focuses on the motifs of dream and magical animals that don't lack irony and grotesque.
