Upper Austrian rustic coffer,
Offenhausen, 2nd half of the 18th century. A spruce coffer, the sides and lid decorated with a graining effect using a comb technique typical of the region, the front richly painted with ornament , flowers and leaves, with a central panel with engravings of saints, with interior compartments, lateral iron handles, lock and key. 72 x 164 x 68 cm. Two small interior drawers missing, otherwise in fine cared-for condition with areas retouched on the sides and lid. (MIN)
