Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 62 x 60 cm, first third of the 20th century, knotted facing side of a former khordjin with roosters or peacocks, “bird bags” are very popular collectibles and are among the curiosities of Balochistan’s art of weaving, this piece is very unusual in its colourfulness, with many blue and green parts in the pattern, only slight damage to the foundation.
